13. Fešta forske pulene
The meeting of traditional Dalmatian ships is an opportunity to get to know old ships. The festival takes place from October 5 to 8, which was not chosen by chance. Namely, on October 7, long ago in 1571, the famous battle of Lepant took place, in which the Hvar galley St. Jerolim, from which the Zvir pullen (bow decoration of the ship), the only known pullen from that time, has been preserved.

HVAR Metropola mora is committed to preserving the rich maritime heritage, with a special focus on the traditional boats of Dalmatia. Through various events and festivities, they demonstrate their dedication to the preservation of maritime heritage. One such event is the ‘Fešta forske pulene’ or the 13th Meeting of Traditional Boats of Dalmatia, held in the city of Hvar.
